These Stewing Chickens are great for slow cooking, making your own broth or stock, or throwing in a soup.
Set the crockpot and enjoy delicious, tender dinner!
Meal Planning Tip: our favorite way to cook Stewing Chicken is in the crockpot for about 3-4 hours on high, or until a thermometer inserted into thickest part of the chicken reads 165 degrees F. When the meat is done, remove from crockpot, but leave the broth. Add desired amount of rice to the crockpot to cook in the broth. After the rice is fully cooked, spoon it out and place the chicken on top for a delicious and easy meal!
